Who is the Rockville Downtown Association?
The RDA is a private, non-profit membership organization formed by individuals in the community dedicated to improving the image, physical environment, and economic stability and revitalization of downtown Rockville.
Goals of the Rockville Downtown Association:
To create meaningful collaborative of private and public partnerships through common goals and shared visions for a revitalized Rockville.
To implement beautification, restoration and reuse of public space as it effects sense of pride in our community.
To effectively work with business owners,residents and property owners to elevate the level of economic viability and stability of the downtown area.
To recapture and enhance the historic Victorian character of the town center through cultural activities, facade improvements, and the promotion of heritage tourism.
The Rockville Downtown Association, Inc. is a member of the Connecticut Main Street Program under the direction fo the National Main Street Program in Washington, D.C.

Four-Point Approach:
1. Organization: Building consensus and cooperation among all groups that have a stake in downtown Rockville.
2. Design: Improving Rockville's image by enhancing its physical characteristics and historic atmosphere.
3. Promotions/Activities: Strengthening the existing economic base while diversifying it with compatible new businesses and activities.
4. Economic Enhancement/Restructuring: Strengthening the existing economic base while diversifying it with compatible new business and activities.
